Weather, Racing & Stuff
Hey everyone... as long as the weather holds out, we are planning to repeat last weeks modified race schedule. We will race Thursday night instead of practice and do a double race on Saturday. Saturday is our last scheduled race of the season so we will have our picnic that day too. Please bring a dish to pass-the track will provide the meat and drinks ( whatever is left in concessions) for the picnic. If you have any questions feel free to call me. 736-3831. Thnks,Teresa
Great News !!!!
Hey everyone... the rain has stopped and everything is drying out. We will be taking advantage of the good weather!!! Thursday. Sept 2 we will be having a race instead of a practice at the regular Thur race time. Saturday, Sept 5, we will be having a double race. This will help make up some of our rain outs. I can't believe I am doing this again... but it is raining AGAIN, with no sign of stopping. Once again we will cancel for today. Don't forget that next Saturday, Aug 15th is a double race. We will hold two separate races that day. The following Thur, Aug 20 we will race instead of practice and be closed on Aug 22 for Qualifiers 5 &6 in Grand Rapids. Look for some more double races to be announced, we will have to make up some of our rain outs!! Stay dry... Teresa
July News !!
Hey everbody. So far 2009 has seen some growth for us. That is great!! I still have Free Day Pass coupons available if anyone knows of someone who would like to try out racing. Our sound system is not currently working so there were no announcements last Saturday. Sooo.... remember that we will be racing on Thursday this week. Next Saturday and Sunday are State Qualifiers 3 & 4 in Traverse City. It's not too late if you would like to go- I have all the info. Last Saturday was supposed to be our Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race- unfortunately I was not prepared so it has been postponed until July 25th. The cost for this race is 15.00 each with a portion of your registration fee going to the Scholarship fund. This NBL Scholarship is available for anyone who has ever held an NBL license to apply for. Hope to see you Thursday !!!

BMX Season in full swing
Hey everyone-- glad to see so many people around the track. The rain has finally stopped long enough to have two races in a row!! Yeah!! We have a group of new riders coming down from Onaway- say Hi when you see them. Thanks to Bob Lupu of Onaway for bringing them all down. We are glad to have you. Don't forget that our track will hold a race instead of practice this Thursday and be closed on Sat for the first two State Series Races in Richfield Park. If you have not gotten the info on that and are interested- let me know. I think we have quite a crowd heading down. Last Saturday was apparently "green cast day" and only two people got the word- Aaron and Matt showed up with matching fiberglass on their arms. Hopefully they heal quickly. If you need info or have any questions -especially the "new guys" please don't hesitate to contact one of the board members listed on the link on this page. The answering machine at the track is kept up to date with upcoming race and practice info as well as any cancellations. See ya at the track !!!
2009 Info now available !!!
Hey BMX fans !!! 2009 is underway and so are plans for the 2009 BMX season. The schedule has been set and posted. We are planning a Little Ceasars Fund raiser this month- order forms will be available soon. The State Series schedule is also set and available. Race dates are in with our local races on the schedule page of this site. Contact one of the board members if you need more info- plan ahead this year and Oscoda can make a great showing at these fun races!! Our race day and time has not changed- we will still have gate practice on Thursdays. Our prices will again remain the same- no increase- $6.00 points only... $9.00 points and award. Stay tuned for more details !!!
